Rehabilitation @ Woodcrest Woodcrest Rehabilitation & Residential Health Care Center provides a team that includes Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapists, and Speech and Language Pathologist who work to establish a medically necessary program which focus on each residents’ specific needs and improving their quality of life. Physical Therapy Our experienced Physical Therapists focus on developing a plan of care on restoring residents with functional deficits, coordination, range of motion, endurance, mobility and muscle weakness that resulted from an injury or an aging process. Our target also focuses on wound care and pain management. Occupational Therapy Our professional Occupational Therapists focus on each residents’ goals and increases their independence and the ability to return to their meaningful activities. We assist them with proper techniques and training to achieve activity of daily living (ADL’s) and self-care tasks. Such tasks we focus on is bathing, toileting, dressing, eating, hygiene / grooming and upper body strengthening. Speech Therapy Our Speech and Language Pathologists design treatment plans that are medically necessary for each individual need and skilled on improve swallowing, speech, communication, cognition, language and memory skills. Jintronix We offer Jintronix on-site. Jintronix is a virtual rehabilitation solution including interactive gaming and fun. Since doing therapy or exercise daily is a real struggle for many, immersive virtual activities can motivate patients to push harder and exercise for longer. We offer dozens of engaging activities to help patients achieve more successful outcomes.
